Deinterlacing video is extremely important to ensuring it can be streamed and played back clearly, without jitter, disruptions, lines, static, bars or other noise due to the compression of the video itself (provided the reliability of the network itself is high).

Deinterlacing involves removing any inconsistencies from the video and should be available as a feature of most video conversion, editing and creation software applications.
