The Open Handset Alliance (commonly abbreviated OHA) is a group of major industry players - lead by Google and its Android initiative - to create an open source platform for mobile devices bringing together developers and companies producing mobile technologies. [1]
Similarity to Japanese Ecosystem
At least one analyst and academic leader in the industry has likened Google's Android and the OHA to the existing Japanese Mobile Ecosystem. [2]
