Blackberry is the flagship brand of RIM mobile devices. It is characterized as a business-focused mobile product line, with very strong Email and a one of the first phones to boast a full QWERTY keyboard. RIM also has a number of Blackberry SmartPhone offerings which are very popular world-wide.

All BlackBerry devices have a signature style, look and feel. The keyboards are one of the defining factors, and a Blackberry was one of the first mobile devices to incorporate a full QWERTY keyboard. Even their first line that lacked a physical QWERTY, the touch-screen ( Storm) line, bears a striking resemblance to the original devices:

Research In Motion
Research In Motion (RIM), is the former name of Blackberry, one of the world's leading manufacturers of Mobile Devices and handset related technologies (hardware, accessories and software).[1]
On January 30th, 2013[2] set to coincide with the introduction of the BlackBerry 10, RIM officially changed their name to BlackBerry (which was previously just the brand name of their successful mobile phone line).
