E-Learning (also referred to as electronic learning or eLearning) is a term which generally describes a learning activity or a system supporting the management, administration, collaboration and utilization of learning activities.

A Learning Activity in this context could be virtually any activity where knowledge is conveyed, or information is presented in novel or interactive ways that would not be possible in Books, Print or other old media.
