Localization
From BC$ MobileTV Wiki
Localization acronym (comes from "L" + 10 letters + "n"; upper case L is used to distinguish it from the numeral 1 [one]) coming from the 10 letters in between the L and N in the word localization.
Localization is the adaptation of a message to local dialogues (spellings/slang) and possibly consciousness of local customs (in respect to adapting a message for historical relevance, location references, to speak of local figures, changing look & feel, orientation, color scheme, using known comparisons and examples, highlighting more relevant local data, etc).
