Video Annotation (also known as Video Metadata curation or as Video Tagging; often a pre-cursor for Interactive video) is the addition of textual recordings or geometric markers around specific objects and/or timed to certain events within a video's specific timeline.


  • BC$ MobileTV -- AD EXAMPLES - Video Annotations: (ensure your YouTube global settings in the player have "Annotations" turned on, i.e. slider pushed over to the right, it will occur for 8 seconds exactly at 00:10 until 00:18; though this example is mostly used as a popup you can realize many more detailed use cases such as tagging or annotating individual items, i.e. the clothes worn, products used, etc)
